Lion Head

Ingredients: 500 g minced pork, shrimp 250 g, 6 chestnut, 2 fresh onions, green part only 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon sherry or vermouth, 8 dried Chinese mushrooms, 1 cabbage, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
Products for the sauce: 1 / 2 cup broth, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1-2 teaspoons of sugar.
Preparation: pork mince is kneaded with peeled and chopped shrimp, with chopped chestnuts, with onions and ginger. From this mixture cook 6 balls.
Mushrooms are left to soften in warm water. Wash cabbage and cut into thin strips (can remain whole leaves), stem removed. With half of the cabbage is covered bottom of the container for baking. Meat balls are oval in flour and fry in oil until redness. Remove, place it along with the mushrooms to the baking form and cover with remaining cabbage, watering sauce and stew 1-2 hours on medium heat in the oven. If the liquid turn aside, be added. When serving meatballs are arranged on top of cabbage.
