Dessert with walnuts
Ingredients: 225 g cleaned walnuts, dates 165 g, 250 g sugar, 75 g starch.
Preparation: Walnuts are blanched for 5 minutes, remove and peel of the skin. Dried. Boil dates and stoned. In a deep skillet heat oil to 180 C. Walnuts are fried until golden. Remove and fat is absorbed by kitchen paper. Walnuts and dates are cut very fine, until a homogeneous mass. In boiling water and pour sugar mixture of walnuts and dates. When sugar dissolves, add cornstarch and stir with a little water. Boil over low heat stirring continuously, until thickened. Dessert is served hot.
