Ingredients: 500 g apples, 300 ml oil, 100 g sugar, 100 g starch,
40 g flour.
Preparation: Peel the apples, cleaned of seeds and core, cut into
pieces that are immersed in solution with some water and starch,
then into flour. Fry until golden in a heavy, very hot oil.
In a pan heat some oil, pour sugar is caramelized. Fried apple pieces
are oval well in caramel and pour hot sugar syrup. Serve very hot,
with a deep pot with cold water. Before eating immersed in water
Apples may be substituted with potatoes, peeled and
sliced and prepared in the same way.
